Kew Films is an independent media production and distribution company that specializes in film and television projects about the BIPOC LGBTQ community. Kew produces high quality, artistic, and culturally relevant films that provide commentary on the lives of queer people, normalize their experiences, share culture, and foster positive self-identity, discussion and activism. We're not just a movie company. Kew accurately reflects what the world looks like today, for a more unified and empathetic tomorrow.

The creation of Kew came out of a lack of diverse voices in queer storytelling and in leading roles. Kew provides its audience a chance to see themselves in dynamic, boundless, and thought provoking work across genres. Kew's goal is to create an emotional experience for those who watch our unique content so that our audience will feel like they are part of something bigger and become exceptionally proud of who they are. What makes Kew different is its diversity in queer storytelling and dedication to freethought and community centered discourse. The way we push for a better world is through one project at a time.
Deana Williams
PRESIDENT & EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
Deana Williams has 24 years of experience in writing, directing, and producing content as well as supporting other creatives. Deana received a Bachelor's degree in Film from AI Miami International University of Art and Design and a Master's degree in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University. Deana is passionate about using the art of storytelling to bring about societal change.
Jesus Rey
VICE PRESIDENT & DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE
Jesus Reyna has spent 30 years as an actor, director, and producer of stage plays and musicals. He received an Associate's of Science in Film Technology from Miami Dade College's School of Entertainment & Design Technology. Jesus is incredibly intelligent and has a highly developed sense of the arts.
